Now for the first time we offer selected summer dates only for a short cruise between Luxor and Aswan on one of our exclusively chartered steamships, of which consistently receive the best approval ratings from Voyages Jules Verne guests. The cruise is combined with Egypt’s most famous historic hotels, The Mena House Oberoi at the Pyramids and the Old Winter Palace in Luxor.
Luxor Temple Private Reception
An exclusive private reception at Luxor Temple is included
(except on Cairo & Nile itinerary in April). Walk down the
avenue of sphinxes to a recording of Verdi’s Aida, once staged in the temple, enjoy a cocktail served by staff in pharaonic uniform and stroll through the illuminated temple unimpeded by other visitors. Local musicians will play the Egyptian ‘takht’ music.
