Almost everyone who visits the Pyramids at Cairo wishes they had the time or opportunity to sail on the Nile. Conversely, those who choose a cruise on the Nile wish they just had time to visit Cairo. We are therefore delighted to offer the combination of these two highlights at an exceptionally advantageous tariff enabling visits to the Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum in Cairo and in Upper Egypt the Valley of the Kings and the great temples along the Nile between Aswan and Luxor in just one week. For those whose interest has been awakened by the exhibition in London of some items from Tutankhamun’s tomb, this provides the opportunity to visit both his tomb in the Valley of the Kings and the main collection of the tomb’s treasures at the Egyptian museum in Cairo. For 2009 we have arranged direct, scheduled flights to Luxor and from Cairo, allowing for more time cruising and in Cairo with less time travelling between Cairo and the Nile.
