Nile & Cairo
In brief:
| Cruise - 4 nights. Cairo - 3 nights. |
Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Luxor. Transfer to the MS Hamees for four nights.
Day 2 Visit the temple of Karnak, then by boat to the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Edfu for overnight.
Day 3 Visit Edfu and Kom Ombo temples and continue to Aswan.
Day 4 A morning visit to the High Dam and temple of Philae.
Day 5 Fly from Aswan to Cairo for three nights at your chosen hotel.
Day 6 Visit the Egyptian Museum. Optional afternoon excursion to the Citadel and bazaars of Khan el-Khalili (half day inc. lunch). Optional Sound & Light at the Pyramids.
Day 7 Visit the Pyramids and Great Sphinx in the morning. Optional excursion to Memphis and Saqqara (half day inc. lunch). ‘Cairo by Felucca’ in the evening.
Day 8 Return flight direct from Cairo to London Heathrow.
