Serenade on the Nile

Saving £100 on previously published rates, this classic Nile cruise visiting Luxor, Edfu, Aswan, Kom Ombo and Denderah is on the 5-star MS Serenade

7 nights from £578

The major attractions when exploring the Nile Valley are the timeless Luxor and Karnak temples and the Theban necropolis on the West Bank. Upstream lie the temple of Horus at Edfu and the imposing Graeco-Roman temple of Sobek and Haroeris at Kom Ombo.

From Aswan, the southern-most city in Egypt, the surrounding islands, High Dam and Lake Nasser are revealed as well as, further upstream, the rock temples at Abu Simbel. Of added interest is that this itinerary also allows the opportunity to view the equally well-known (though less well-visited) site, among the best preserved in Egypt; the temple of Hathor at Denderah.
