The savanna grasslands of East Africa offer the most famous wildlife spectacle in the world. A massive concentration of large animals – predators and prey alike and all so easily observed. Along with the incredible sights of thousands of game animals is a virtually unrivalled variety of birdlife. Like big game, much of it is remarkably easy to find and watch closely and long enough to photograph, and get to know well. With a bird list of 1,000 species, expect to find well over 300 within the duration of the safari.
