Cape Centennial
Celebrating the 100th sailing of the RMS St Helena from Cape Town to the remote Atlantic outposts of St Helena and Ascension Island
Day 1 Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Cape Town.
Day 2 Transfer to the 4-star Town House Hotel for a three-night stay at leisure. We include a half-day sightseeing excursion to Cape Point.
Day 5 Embark and sail.
Days 6 to 9 At sea.
Day 10 Arrive St Helena for a two-night stay* at the Consulate Hotel. Time to explore at leisure.
Day 12 Sail on to Ascension.
Days 13 & 14 At sea.
Day 15 Arrive Ascension; accommodation* at the Obsidian Hotel.
Day 16 Time to explore at leisure. Late evening homeward overnight flight.
Day 17 Arrive RAF Brize Norton and transfer by taxi to either Swindon or Oxford railway station.

* The stopover on Ascension Island is dependent on military and government priorities and necessitates stays ashore of varying length: Sailings 116 1 nt; 100 2 nts; 102, 105, 114, 117 & 120 3 nts;108 & 110 4 nts. Sailings 104, 112 & 120 have a day ashore prior to the evening flight.
