Costa Rica Land of Wonders

Tranquility, great beauty, mighty volcanoes, lakes, rivers, rolling countryside, glorious unspoilt beaches, wildlife, sophisticated hotels, charming people and an agreeable climate. It is extraordinary that when there is so much to see and do in this most beautiful of countries that Costa Rica is so little known in Britain.

It is only a little further than the Caribbean and its beaches and facilities are the equal of it. Although not particularly large the country is diverse with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Caribbean on the other and a central valley reputed to have one of the most pleasant climates in the world. With a quarter of the total surface area given over to National Parks which are home to many species of birds, turtles, iguana and other wildlife, naturalists might wish to keep it themselves. However, it is by no means an exclusive destination. Easily affordable it provides adventure to the young, wondrous natural history to delight the more enquiring traveller and efficient services and comfortable accommodation for all.
