Included Excursions
Pompeii & Herculaneum: For the journey to Pompeii and
Herculaneum, Voyages Jules Verne has engaged a private
’old-timer’ train, the 60 year-old-‘Sorrento Express’, with
light lunch and refreshments served on board. Note: During July and August the excursion will be undertaken by coach.
Amalfi Coast: Drive from Sorrento along the scenic ‘Divine
Coast’ to Amalfi, one of the most spectacular routes in
the world. Time to explore Amalfi, at one time a marine
republic rivalling Venice and Genoa.
Optional Excursion Programme
Capri: A visit to the island of Capri with private guide. Full day - £49.
Vesuvius: An ascent of this dormant volcano with an
opportunity to walk to the summit. On the return journey
there will be an opportunity to sample a slice of authentic
Neapolitan pizza. Half day - £28.
