Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow* to Milan Malpensa and transfer to the 4-star Grand Hotel Menaggio or the 4-star Grand Hotel Cadenabbia for a seven-night stay. Time at leisure for independent exploration or to join in a programme of optional excursions (days of excursions may vary).
Day 2 An optional half-day excursion by private boat to Villa Carlotta and Villa del Balbianello, two of the loveliest villas on the lake with magnificent gardens (£36).
Day 3 An optional day excursion to St. Moritz including a spectacular train journey on the Bernina Express, returning by coach over the Maloya Pass via Engadine (£35).
Day 4 Full-day optional tour to Milan including Castello Sforzesco, the greatest Renaissance monument in the city and home to the Court where Leonardo Da Vinci worked, the Cathedral and La Scala opera house (£32).
Day 5 Day at leisure.
Day 6 An optional full-day tour visiting Lake Orta and Stresa on Lake Maggiore (£36).
Day 7 An optional full-day excursion to the old town of Bergamo in Lombardy (£33). The tour departs in the morning and includes a walking tour of the historic centre.
Day 8 Transfer to Milan Malpensa airport for the return flight to Heathrow.

In addition to the British Airways flight from London Heathrow to Milan Malpensa we also offer the following regional flights: easyJet to Milan Malpensa from London Gatwick, Bristol and Edinburgh. Ryanair to Bergamo from Bournemouth, Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands, Liverpool, Luton. BMI baby to Bergamo from Birmingham. No in-flight meals or refreshments are included on these carriers and only one piece of checked luggage is included.
Note:As these flights involve private transfers to and from the Lake Como, there will be a supplementary charge of £25 per person.
