Summertime in Sorrento
A ‘Limited Edition’ relaxing week on the Bay of Naples at substantially reduced tariffs and a programme of optional excursions
7 nights from only £365
The Romans chose Sorrento as a bathing resort, infl uenced no doubt by its idyllic location on the Bay of Naples overlooking Capri. The main reason to visit today is to combine relaxation with visits to some of the many fascinating historical sites. In return for this ‘Limited Edition’ of special tariffs we reserve the right to advise you of your chosen hotel with your joining instructions prior to departure. Flights are with British Airways from London Gatwick and accommodation is based on a seven-night stay at one of our contracted 3 or 4-star hotels. All hotels have a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and rooms with private facilities. Rooms are based on standard category, including breakfast, and are without sea view or balcony. The programme of optional pre-bookable excursions includes Pompeii, frozen in time following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD and the smaller, less visited but equally well-preserved Roman town of Herculaneum, visited by private ’old-timer’ train, the 60-year-old ‘Sorrento Express’. We also offer a optional drive along the scenic ‘Divine Coast’ to Amalfi , and visits to Capri and one of the most exciting and beautifully sited cities of the Mediterranean, Naples.
Please note: hotels cannot be requested and will be advised with your joining instructions.
