A basic family-run’ residencial’ set in an elevated position, up a steep flight of steps. Situated in a residential area overlooking the Bay of Funchal, the 45 simply furnished rooms have private facilities. There is a TV room, a sun terrace and a small outdoor pool. Please note there is no lift. The hotel prides itself on its restaurant which offers fresh local ingredients. A good base for independent exploration of the island, with a bus stop into central Funchal near the hotel. Rooms are housed in an annexe close to the main building.
