Vila Camacho is a basic family-run ‘residencial’ set in an elevated position, up a steep flight of steps. Situated in a residential area overlooking the Bay of Funchal, there are fine views of the coast and mountains, 45 simply furnished rooms with private facilities, a restaurant noted for its cuisine and a small pool. There is a bus stop into central Funchal close by.
Important note: Building work is currently being carried out next door to the Vila Camacho, between 09.00 and 18.00 - Monday to Saturdays. Disruption is minimal, but there still may be some small noise disturbance.
