Day 1 Fly from London Gatwick to Antalya. Transfer to your chosen hotel for seven nights.
Day 2 Morning tour of Antalya, visiting the old town, mosque, city walls and Archaeological Museum. Afternoon drive into the West Taurus mountains to visit ancient Termessos.
Day 3 At leisure.
Day 4 Highlights of today's tour include the stadium of Perge, the aqueduct and famed theatre of Aspendos and the temples and theatre of Side.
Day 5 At leisure.
Day 6 Follow the Lycian coastline to the ancient port of Phaselis and the Lycian city of Myra (Demre) to view its rock tombs and theatre. St.Nicholas, known in Turkey as ‘Noel Baba’, was the bishop of Myra.
Day 7 At leisure.
Day 8 Return flight.
Extension - Istanbul
Three nights at the President Hotel (available after 1 week stays only). Includes breakfast daily, two lunches, one dinner and visits to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and a Bosphorus cruise.
