Angkor Wat & the Mekong

By paddle steamer along one of the world's great rivers

13 nights from £1997

Key VJV Features

• Excursions Included • Extension Option • Upgraded Flight Option • Maximum Group Size: 30*

The original ‘Pandaw’ was a Scots-built paddle steamer owned and operated by the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company in Burma. With their shallow draft technology perfected over the past 150 years, these vessels are ideally suited to the similar low-water conditions found on stretches of the Mekong River. This seven-night cruise provides an excellent means of travelling in great comfort to places unreachable by road and makes possible exploration of the vast but little known region between the former French colonial city of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) and the ancient Khmer capital of Angkor.

Early booking recommended due to limited space.

* Whilst the vessels carry up to 60 guests, our maximum group size for transfers and excursions is 30.
