The major sights visited include imperial Delhi, the Rajasthani ‘pink city’ of Jaipur, Agra and the Taj Mahal, the uniquely magnificent temples and carvings at Khajuraho, spiritually uplifting Varanasi and the Ganges and the jewel of the Himalayas, Kathmandu. En route we also visit the Amber Fort and Akbar’s abandoned sandstone capital, Fatehpur Sikri and the enchanting temples of Orcha.
