The Tale of the Tiger

Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow direct to Delhi.

Day 2 Early morning arrival and transfer to the Ashok Country Resort. Afternoon orientation tour of Delhi including Lutyens’ Delhi, India Gate, Raj Ghat and driving past the Red Fort.

Day 3 Morning drive to Agra for a two-night stay at the Hotel Mansingh Palace. An afternoon optional tour of Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565.

Day 4 Morning sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal with an optional afternoon tour to Sikandra or Itmad-Daula.

Day 5 Drive south to Ranthambore. Two nights at Ranthambore Regency Hotel on a full board basis.

Day 6 Early morning and late afternoon game drives give the best opportunity to view the varied wildlife in the National Park. Between ‘safaris’ there is time to relax by the pool or explore the small town.

Day 7 An optional game drive before driving to Jaipur and two nights at the Hotel Narain Niwas or similar.

Day 8 Full-day optional sightseeing tour of Jaipur includes a tour of the Amber Fort, a visit to the City Palace, the Observatory and a view of the Palace of the Winds.

Day 9 Transfer to Delhi airport for the return flight.

Day 10 Early morning flight to London Heathrow arriving later the same day.
