An introductory offer staying in a tranquil resort on Oman’s north coast, with excursions to capital Muscat, historic Nizwa and Arabia’s ‘Grand Canyon’
Day 1 Fly overnight* from London Gatwick to Muscat.
Day 2 Transfer to the Al Sawadi Beach Resort for a seven-night stay.
Day 3 At leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities.
Day 4 A city tour of Muscat includes the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Old Town, with free time to explore the capital.
Day 5 Travel through the desert to the important cultural centre of Nizwa, the ruins of UNESCO World Heritage Bahla Fort and Jabrin fort, with lunch included.
Day 6 At leisure.
Day 7 Visit the Jebel Akhdar mountain range, home to the Omani “Grand Canyon”. Picnic lunch included.
Day 8 At leisure.
Day 9 Transfer to Muscat for the return flight to Gatwick, arriving later the same day.
