Day 3 Optional excursion to Palmyra visiting the Valley of the Tombs, necropolis, colonnaded street and temple of Baal.
Day 4 Half-day tour of Damascus including the National Museum, Street Called Straight, Church of Ananias, St Paul’s Gate, Omayyad Mosque, Saladin’s Tomb and the Hamidiyeh souk.
Day 5 Morning excursion to Crac des Chevaliers and afternoon visit to the 5th-century church of St Simeon. Three nights in Aleppo.
Day 6 Morning walking tour of the Old City. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7 Full-day tour of Aleppo visiting the National Museum, Citadel, souk and the old city quarter of Jdeidah. Dinner with music and dance at an historic restaurant.
Day 8 Transfer to Aleppo airport for return flight via Damascus.
